About Space NK

Space NK was founded by Nicky Kinnaird as a Covent Garden store in 1993.  The mission was to "source and offer a carefully edited selection of high quality, original and effective beauty products from innovators and specialists around the world", and it certainly took off!  Since then, more stores have opened across the UK, and in 2007, SpaceNK opened a flagship store in Manhattan, New York (with further stores in the USA opened since).

Of course the SpaceNK website includes the same great range of beauty, skin- and hair-care products as the stores, and allows you to browse and purchase at your leisure, and from the comfort of your own home.

SpaceNK isn't just for women, with a great range of men's products and items for the home, and with top-notch customer service and speedy delivery, it's the first place to look if you're after something specific or just that "je ne sais quoi"!

Store-Index's Space NK review

Space NK has always been a firm favourite of ours, but we kind of found the website a bit wishy-washy ... well all that has now changed!  Space NK have recently had an exciting re-design of their site, and although it remains simple and clean, it's much more attractive and truly reflects the great range within.

The SpaceNK front page is very visual with large, colourful images that contrast nicely with the black and white theme of the site.  The main menu at the top of the page is self-explanatory and easy to navigate, with all of the SpaceNK store sections as headers and the sub-sections popping down when you hover over them.  The 9 sections are Skincare, make-up,  beauty tools, fragrance, bath & body, hair, men, home fragrance and gifts, with a separate link to the individual brands.

Speaking of brands, we love the SpaceNK range, which includes many of the very best in the world and definitely not your high street favourites.  Don't be put off, though, because many items are affordable and once you've started using anti-wrinkle creams / spot treatments / hair smoothers that actually work, you will never want to go back!

We give SpaceNK our highest recommendations.  Within these pages you are guaranteed to find at least one thing that will make you a loyal, lifetime fan, plus it's a fabulous place to shop for gifts, especially for those annoying "have everything" types - men and women alike!
